Taking taxi is a popular way to get around the city. Now there are more than 16,000 taxies running around Guangzhou city. Different taxies from different taxi companies feature different colors in the cars. The fees for taking taxi start from 10 rmb for the first 2.3 kilometers, and 2.6 rmb for each additional kilometer. For each trip, 1 rmb fuel surcharge is needed. Taxi hot line: 96900.

The Canton Fair Complex – Pazhou Complex is located near Exit A of Pazhou Metro Station, Line 8.
Guangzhou Metro was put into use since 1999, and up to now it has covered most part of the city center and being regarded by many as the main transportation moving around the city. The fees for taking metro starts from rmb 2 to 12. It is convenient for foreigners to take metro as most of the signs and broadcasts are also in English. Tickets can be bought automatically from the vending machines with bills from rmb 5-10 or coins. For large bills, you can change at the customer service counter. The ticket is a small, green plastic token, used at the gate entering the platform and at the exit.
Line 1
If you take Line 1 at first, please get off at Gongyuanqian metro station and transfer to Guangzhou Railway Station(Line 2). Then get off at Changgang Metro Station, transfer to Line 8, and get off at Pazhou Metro Station via Exit A.
Line 2
If you take Line 2 at first, please transfer to Line 8 at Changgang Metro Station, and then get off at Pazhou Metro Station.
Line 3
If you take Line 3 at first, please transfer to Line 8(to Wangshengwei) at Kecun Metro Station, and then get off at Pazhou Metro Station.
Line 4
If you take Line 4 at first, please transfer to Line 8 at Wangshengwei Metro Station, and then get off at Pazhou Metro Station.
Line 5
If you take Line 5 at first, there are two ways to get China Import and Export Complex.
- Get off at Zhujiang New Tow Metro Station and transfer to Line 3(to Panyu Square). Get off at Kecun Metro Station, transfer to Line 8(Wanshengwei), and get off at Pazhou Metro Station.
- Get off at Chebeinan Metro Station and transfer to Line 4(to Jinzhou Station). Get off at Wanshengwei Metro Station, transfer to Line 8, and get off at Pazhou Metro Station.
Line 8
If you are living close to Line 8, that’s very convenient commuting to Pazhou Complex. Get off at Pazhou Metro Station, and go out through Exit A.
