Are you ready for Chinese Zhong qiu jie celebration? I know those dudes in Guangzhou Cultural Park are looking forward to that day. Look.
At the gate adjacent to Xi Di Er electronic markets in Guangzhou, you’ll find a large floral shape lantern as hanging lantern and guessing lantern riddles play a very important part in celebrating Chinese Mid-autumn festival.
Walk straight into Cultural Park, you’ll see lots of interesting dudes as if you are entering Disney land. However, the main difference of these Chinese characters is that they are not only artistic work for fun, but also a good presentation of cultural park with antithetical couplets.
This one is a presentation about being polite, to learn and to be honest.
Then you’ll come to the center of the park where there is a large red drum with a red Chinese character “Fu 福” as well as two dragon-shape ribbons hanging on it. Red, a traditional festival color in China, while the Chinese character福 with meaning good luck, is usually being hung in important festivals to show that good luck is coming soon.
There are some cute ducks and goose swimming on the pool in the front of the large drum.

On the left and right sides of the large drums, there are also other two letter words of instructions: 正直 which means righteousness, 进取 enterprising spirit, 勤劳 diligence, etc.
Nearby people are busy preparing for Mid-autumn day performance.
